Coal based power plants are today the main source of electricity generation. It accounts for more than 50% of power generation in India, and worldwide.
In coal-fired power stations, the raw feed coal from the coal storage area is first crushed into small pieces (in the crusher department) and then conveyed to the coal feed hoppers at the boilers. The coal is next pulverized into a very fine powder. The pulverizes may be Ball/Tube Mills, Vertical Mills or E-Mills.
The burnt coal, converted to ash, is then handled and sent for various other uses. To avoid confusion, we call this department as Ash Handling department.
With the decreasing availability of good quality coal, the burden is on the Crusher and milling departments to provide high volumes of ground coal for power generation. Our products are used in the various types of Crushers, Pulverizers and Ash Handling departments. Enhanced technologies used in each of these products not only help the customer in reduced costs, increased efficiency and lesser downtime of the machinery.
